We provided emergency food for 177 families in Nepal who were isolated and without supplies. This included 9 families who had their homes destroyed by a land slide. We were the sole source of support for this effort and the team had to hike many 60 lbs. bags of rice in for 5 hours up trails on their back to reach these families.
HLC supports the needs of those in poverty in Nepal. Last year, they reached out and served 200+ families in crisis due to natural disasters and the pandemic. They are always serving those around them, regardless of need. They are flourishing in the midst of a very difficult culture.
