We did a micro loan last year for $1,000 for ELD Kenya. That the micro-loan that we provided for the Nalepo Milk Point Company has been paid back in full in just one year! Phideline, the owner of the Milk Point Company has now asked for an additional expansion loan of $1,000 so that she can open up a second store.
Entrepreneurial Leadership Development is an international effort to bring education, encouragement and support to those looking to better their lives and their communities through business and social enterprise. The greatest success of ELD is when a participant becomes an implementer and then a trainer. There have been those who have attended our training and immediately go back to their villages to share with others what they have experienced. With our partners, we desire that future trainers are experienced in entrepreneurship and have the ability to take the Train the Trainer and multiply it to others.
